#nofilterneeded So I had to cancel my travel plans to sit it out in Brighton. I don’t panic easily and I’ve travelled through all kinds of crisis situations but this one definitely feels different and I actually want to be at home, or what passes for it, right now. Luckily I hadn’t rented out my home this time, so much easier to stay home. One last view of #rotterdam as I settle back into my routine of sorts in Brighton. After a long period of full time travel I find myself enjoying the mundane of (semi) permanency. Before I left #Rotterdam I managed to get to the nearby#unescoworldheritage of #kinderdijk Amazing to see it in the flesh after seeing so many pictures. So here we have a gnome carrying a buttplug, the work of sculptor Paul McCarthy. This was the first piece of artwork that greeted me as I attempted to find my hotel in Rotterdam this afternoon.
