So having fulfilled all my obligations in London for the while, I am off on my travels for the month of August.
There is a plan (although a lot of my plans tend to get abandoned half way through when something bright and shiny distracts my gnat-like attention span and pulls me in another direction).
The ‘plan’ is that I fly down to Dubrovnik. From there I make my way along the Dalmation coast and then on to Zagreb.
From there I go into Slovenia.
Then I have a music festival called Sziget to attend in Budapest for a week.
After Budapest I then have just three days to get myself to Paris for another music event (Rock en Seine. It’s a pun. A little example of French humour for you there).
Apart from Budapest and Paris, and the starting point of Dubrovnik, the rest is wide open to mind-changing and complete alteration so we will see what happens.
I am attempting to do this trip on a pauper’s budget. I won’t say the figure I have in mind, as I almost always fail to keep to my budget, but it will be interesting to see how catastrophic a failure this trip is on the budget-planning front.

No suggestions… just have a blast and especially looking forward to the music fest updates!
Thanks 🙂 Yes virtually every outdoor music event I’ve been to in London this year has been raining,, so I have high hopes for Budapest.
Ugh I wanted to go to Sziget but for some reason the website wouldn’t take my payments. Have fun!!
Thanks 🙂 Yes I’ve never been before so really looking forward..
